Home / About Our Farm
A generational cow-calf operation raising grass-fed, grain-finished beef in Lakeland, Florida, for our neighbors’ tables.
Our Story
The Raney family runs a generational cow-calf operation, and we saw a real need for local, quality beef in Polk County. We started by selling wholes and halves to neighbors and friends.
As demand for local beef grew, we began supplying local restaurants and selling directly to families. That growth became Pine Lake Beef Company.
The name comes from Pine Lake, one of our family’s ranches. It’s where we gather to relax, fish and spend time together, and it’s the same care we put into every cut we sell.
Our family appreciates the opportunity to supply yours with quality homegrown beef.

From Our Pasture
Every Pine Lake animal is born and raised on our Polk County ranch, so we can tell you exactly how your beef was raised.
A cow-calf operation on our own Lakeland pastures, cared for by our family every day.
Grass-fed, then finished on a custom feed blend from a local grain mill and hand-fed daily.
Processed at a USDA facility in Central Florida, then cut and vacuum-sealed pack by pack.
Natural enzymes tenderize the beef while dry-aging concentrates its rich, beefy flavor.
Rooted in Polk County
We sell directly to Lakeland families, supply local restaurants and support the county and state agricultural groups Kateland serves. When you buy Pine Lake beef, your money stays in Polk County and you always know where your food came from.
